geez louis well feeling inebriated this morning had Randy go to the dump with me since stomach is jacked, I have a headache and overall, just feel like crap. Glad he came along after turning onto Wardlow avenue from Alameda and passing amigo market going like 40 mph i am focusing straight ahead and peripherally but fail to see a red light. Randy had to point it out to me. I have mentioned the dangerousness of these outlawed practices and how I have had close calls not seeing red signal lights and even going through without seeing the light. I told Randy thank you I didn't even see the light approaching it and he said just trying to keep everyone safe. It all makes you feel bad, but on the higher end those that are supposed to keep things safe that abuse their power and privilege may go too far when shortsightedness becomes routinization. For example, when zero tolerance practices like broken windows style of policing matures into practices like I have been experiencing that act as an exterminating program.
The dichotomous categorical type of thinking that see's social issues and not people. Who is it that gets to make these choices of who belongs and who doesn't? A better question may be what is the cognitive/emotional state of mental health in which they coming from? Are they aware of and do they have control of the volition from which their perceptions and interpretations are coming from? This is America that boasts being a compassionate nation one that protects its citizens via constitutional, human and civil rights. As people become more antagonistic whether it be people in society or leaders and CEOs of organizations, when aggression levels rise, and people adapt poorly to the stressors of life often burnout can set in leaving a person disgusted and apathetic. This is a problem because at this state of repressive apathy the person relinquishes self-control and begins to focus outside of them at how things are being done to them, rather than being self-aware from an internalized perspective of looking within. It is so important not to negate or lose the ability to understand one's own suffering and/or the suffering of others. Paul Conti explains this as trauma, and exclaims that trauma fogs the mirror and distorts the window. We then can't see ourselves as we are, and we can't view the differences of others as anything other than harmful.
Another aspect of the cumulative effects of stress over a lifetime is the neurophysiological changes that take place in the brain. Some may experience stress early on to the degree that the frontal cortex does not come online. Mimicking the amygdala hijack of PTSD or traumatic experiences the maladaptive stress response has implications of whether the person will reap the benefits of having developed an adult brain or not that being the experience of intellectual and emotional maturity. The contrast is the maladaptive stress response leads to emotional reactivity, impulse control issues, and imbalance of the meso-limbic dopaminergic reward pathways (i.e., nucleus accumbens). Unable to enjoy the simple pleasures of life or unable to have an exciting future to look forward to because the lessened ability of lackluster neurocircuitry will cause a person to struggle to find genuine happiness and contentment. When reinforcement values and expectancies become less effective due to low dopamine baselines because of this negative affect as well as the imbalance of the nucleus accumbens area a person will be prone to fill the void of an emotional state through adverse behaviors in which they are prone to becoming addicted too.
A phenomenon called limbic friction sets in no extended memory or learning just negative, angry and automatic bias like moral disgust that takes place. This when neural circuitry between the OFC and Limbic center are disinhibited or disconnected working memory subsides not only can a person struggle to learn, but constructs stored in the memory to discriminate ones own thinking become compromised. Instead, incoming environmental releasing stimuli will transpose a negative effect from fear conditioning, imprints of stress, internalized shame all which have gone unchecked (repressive apathy). This causes conflict within the subconscious which will shift under duress and show on the surface as negative behavior become acted out through anxiety, anger, hatred and violence towards others.
This externally motivated ego based false sense of self that ensues distorts reality via defense mechanisms due to living up to other peoples expectations. The person struggles and is compromised to that of the person that chooses to look within, self-improve by tuning into ones cognition, emotion, and intuition. This creates a solid core identity due to building a solid foundation of this internalization process of living a value driven life. The fundamental aspect of this work is empathy, which is empowerment because it addresses issues through acceptance, which is learning rather than denial, shutting down and running amok on negative emotionality. At a certain degree it is not difficult to see a person in despair rather than a person in a state of generativity, because behaviors will show on the surface between a balanced rather than a mentally imbalanced self and mindset. How someone thinks, responds, how they are motivated, how they are attuned to their professional responsibility, and how they accept others through inclusive versus exclusionary practices or not. This can all be seen and explained by the neural basis of behavior to distinguish if a person is in a functional or dysfunctional state of the autobiographical self; creativity, imagination, language, reason, extended memory and anticipated future.
It is all about development and rehabilitation this must be our main priority retribution has got to go.
One must ask are you naturally happy and content?
Are you reaping the benefits of functioning as an intellectually and emotionally mature adult?
Are you aware of the difference?
Throughout this article and during a reread it is important to consider the differences that come to mind between that of someone with a growth mindset versus being stuck in entropy and stagnation,
I am sure that exclusionary practices come from a place of negativity that neither has any learning nor any case studies involved, instead an extreme authoritarian approach the status quo just the way that it is and has to be. A form of negative reinforcement from someone that has to be heard at this level one that has no positive growth or healing properties instead just acting running amok reinforcing that which ails you taking it out on others rather than addressing it by seeking objective reality to keep reason and order in your own life. The behavioral sciences can predict it and explain it. Please try to stay out of the other man's field that is for whatever reason that you may be unwilling or incapable to learn or embrace it from a standpoint of objectivity backed by science and case studies rather than taking a subjective stance based on opinion and attitude.
For all due intents and purposes empathy is the fundamental aspect of moral reasoning and compassion, which allows for neural development and higher self-consciousness so that coherence through multiple fields can be achieved as enhanced skills lead to beneficial outcomes that are aligned with one's true values and character. This is positive reinforcement that is self-reinforcing at the neural level, genuine, authentic, rewarding, and the truest route to a solid core identity, dopamine induced positive energy, and happiness and contentment at the level of affect.
