Behavioral neurosciences offer awareness of the devastating effects that the maladaptive stress response/PTSD has on mental health and well-being. Bringing about awareness of what functional state contributes to neurological development that contributes to the higher optimal functional state of the human organism  no doubt contributes to better mental health outcomes; stronger people, stronger societies, stronger USA therefore a stronger world and this should be our utmost priority. Pathology presents that when brain regions are atrophied, compromised, or become inhibited from the physiological and epigenetic change from lackluster development, multi-generational trauma, from the cumulative effects of much stress often effects perception interpretation, cognition/emotion, and volition in a negative way that contributes to the worst of human behavior and addiction. These latent life factor’s (effect of stress on the brain) of human development that contribute to negative affect (emotional health) are at the cornerstone of understanding many of the issues we are experiencing in the world today through the fundamental aspects of human development and human behavior.

I am not serving myself are you? I am here to give back in my life while here on earth to contribute and help to leave this world as a better place than when I got here. I started this endeavor with the goal of giving back in mind when I went back to school in 2006 to learn all this stuff. Everyone has their mindset and ways about doing things and obviously this comes from within as so far as from what one has gained from being here on earth thus far. How hard we try and what motivates us varies but surely our potential and volitation are contributed to the environment we experienced in our development years and how well we were able to adapt and to rise above in a positive way or not through these experiences.

The complexities of individual differences cannot be simplified to who belongs or who doesn’t through circular reasoning, categorical thinking, post-hoc rationalizing negative spirit or even politically motivated aspirations or ideologies. The subjective approach is muddled in delusion/confusion, and misattribution. I hope we as a people have come along further than this, instead seeking objective truth and reality of the human condition must be done through a multi-faceted approach looking through the lens; behavioral manifestations, biological, neurophysiological, physicochemical, and social/environment lens. This multi-faceted approach is rich in detail goes beyond a list of facts, in fact keeping the humanness in the equation is humane and the behavioral neurosciences can be the ethical line to stay grounded as a valid and reliable approach to understand the biopsychosocial fundamental nature of the complexities of the human condition at a deeper level through a multi-dimensional approach. Behavior is a symptom of an underlying causal mechanism and should not be confused as a social issue through shallow superficial judgement. This is a lose lose when this happens.

Seeing people as people and not as social issues is important if we want to learn, gain experience, therefore if we want to create and have valid case studies that help us to offer a better service to humanity that we can truly rely on then I guess this is important. Issues that go misunderstood cause stress, remember it is compassion that regulates sympathetic arousal, and it is a healthy brain and a healthy mind in reciprocity that creates and that depends on this. My studies are about mental health if the underpinnings of behavior are not understood through clinical assessment and the underlying causal mechanism of behavior and symptoms go misunderstood and left untreated then we are just shooting in the dark and the condition still exists. It is time to prevent burnout, apathy and acting on or even becoming addicted to emotions like anger disgust that do not resolve issues but only compound and already exacerbated state. This goes on both sides of the aisle.
